1963 Lambretta Li 150 Special /
Pacemaker |
Info. |
|
Engine Size: 150cc
Year First
Manufactured: 1963
Other Info:
Subtle changes were made
from the standard Li 150 to give it more power & a sportier
feel. It had a new barrel & cylinder head along with
adjustments to the gear ratios.
Cosmetically it took many
of the features such as the octagonal headlamp rim, horn
casting & the later style TV175 side panels with the chrome
inset.
In 1965 a 125cc version
was introduced. |
1963 Lambretta TV or GT 200 |
Info. |
|
Engine Size: 198cc
Year First
Manufactured: 1963
Other Info:
This first model to have
a 200cc engine was only available in UK. It was basically a
TV175 bored out to the larger size. With early models in
1962 there were a few technical problems due to the
increased power, but these were sorted out & the 200cc
version now renamed GT200 became a great success. This led
to the production of the SX200 which was sold worldwide -
except for Italy! |
1964 Lambretta J50 |
Info. |
|

monocoque chassis & very basic styling.
It was marketed without a
speedometer & with only a single seat, although a dual seat
could be bought separately. |
1964 Lambretta Cento |

|
Engine Size: 98cc
Year First
Manufactured: 1964
Other Info:
This model turned out to
be much more popular than the 50cc Lambretta being much
faster & having a speedo, dual seat & floor strips as
standard.
In 1965 the J125 was
introduced, which was the same apart from its 125cc engine.

The
SX was designed with new shape to the headset (hexagonal) & to
the panels, which now had the three fingered flashes pointing
forwards. Again this 200cc version had the front disc brake,
and the SX200 was the first Lambretta to have a 90mph
speedometer.
This was arguably the best
ever looking model produced by Innocenti which sold a total of
28,400 units by the time production ceased in 1969. |
